St Mary's Children's Choir Do you enjoy singing? St. Mary’s Children’s Choir is for girls and boys aged from 7 to 11. The choir will have the opportunity to sing about once a month at the 9.30 a.m. Sunday service at St. Mary’s Church in Stafford. Rehearsals are weekly during term-time on Fridays between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. Most rehearsals are at The Church in Rowley Street with some rehearsals at St. Mary’s Church. Parents are very welcome to stay and listen. The Children’s Choir is run by Margaret Outen and other members of St. Mary’s Church, who are all CRB checked.
Did you know? The great thing about singing together is that it’s fun and it encourages working together as a team. Singing together can also help you with your learning and memory, even helping you to achieve positive results with literacy and numeracy! Singing together can give you a sense of well-being and can help build up your confidence. You will also learn all the skills needed to be a good singer, including how to sing well, read music and perform in public. All this and it’s great fun too!
