Noah was a good man. One day God looked around and felt very sad because people wouldn’t listen to him and wouldn’t do good things.

So God said to Noah, build me an ark and fill it with a mummy and daddy of every kind of animal.

So Noah built the ark.

He brought the big animals (like elephants and tigers)

He brought the little animals (like cats and dogs)

And even the teeny tiny ones (like butterflies)

The ark sailed and sailed and all Noah could see was water.

Then one day the ark stopped (some of the animals fell over when this happened).

Noah first sent out a Raven which is a big black bird, but it flew and flew but couldn’t find land. Next Noah sent out a Dove and this time it came back with a tiny olive tree in its beak.

Noah looked up and saw a rainbow, this was God’s promise that God will always look after you. Noah said thank you to God.
